identity theft?
Okay so I have a polyvore account and I am in the Gram Bell Prep roleplay and I used a photo off photobucket and this girl is trying to get my account deleted because of "identity theft"
No the picture is not of her and I even put on my profile this is a roleplay not really me can she do this???

1. its a ROLEPLAY your supposed to use a pic that isnt yourself
2. you didnt claim to be this person and you clearly said that you werent so there is no problem with doing that
is it identity theft if someone uses your picture but uses a different name?
a girl on myspace is using a lot of my pictures but she’s not using my name.. is it identity theft?
People normally talk about ‘identity theft’ in the sense that it leads to fraud – e.g. someone using your name to run up debts in your name etc. See the article about identity theft below.
However, that doesn’t mean that it’s ok someone is using your photo on MySpace. I would email someone at MySpace to report that person – they should be able to block their account.
