Alex Jones goes live about the governments plan to break net-neutrality and take control of the web.
Is this a good thing or a bad thing, read the article’s above and use your own moral judgement but listen to what the reporter says about identity theft. Is id theft really worth the tax dollars we will spend
on spying on ourselves? Imagine the government controlling completely free and open sites like
social networks, twitter, myspace, facebook… That goes against the whole idea of net neutrality and
the basis of the internet. If you know anything about the history of the net you will know that in some
cases it was computer hackers that liberated the net from big government corporations and schools
and gave access to friends such as the way file sharing and P2P came to be. Government does not
want this! They are still fighting the court case battle on “illegal” file sharing and now they want to
take away the net all together. It might be a good thing at first but then who knows once they get it!!!
