The main difference however is that with dedicated hosting you get help and with collocated you have to debug on your own. This means you need extensive knowledge with computers, internet, and websites.

Each of these different hosting types have differences and some have some similarities. The best way to decide which one is best for you, is to first figure out what type of website you have and how you want it to grow, if at all. If you’ve got a business website, a company or an organization that you wish to make money on, or keep running than dedicated service is best. If you however just have a small personal blogging site to vent and let your voice be heard, then free or shared will do fine. Free or shared will also suffice for a situation like a photo website or a small web page with information about yourself. Even a portfolio can do well on a shared website if it is small.
All of these are various types of web hosting services that you can use for your website to watch it grow and be shown all over the Internet. You can get the best service to keep your web site up and running at top speed. If you are trying to have an online business or organization it is important to get the best service there is.
